- The research was connducted at the University of Ankara, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agronomy. The purposes in this research were to determine the yield and yield components in Westar cv. of summer rape when the plants were fertilized with fixed fosfor doses (4, 8, 12 kg/da) to research of proper nitrogen dose for these plants under Ankara conditions.

According to the results, the maximum seed yield was obtained as 187.20 kg'da at the dose of 12 kg N/da while the minimum seed yield was 150.69 kg da at the control. Plant height, lateral branch number, pod number on the main stem and seed number per pod shown positive correlation in regard with nitrogen doses increase. Keywords : Brassica napus L.; Westar cv. of summer rape; nitrogen dose
