DOI : 10.21566/tarbitderg.281320 - In this study, the floristic features of rangelands were examined based on 31 vegetation surveys completed in Nevşehir Province. Vegetation survey was performed with wheel-point method. According to results of this study, the 183 species in 120 genera of 42 families were identified. The 25 plant species were found as endemic. The families of the highest covering areas were Poaceae, Asteraceae, Lamiaceae and Fabaceae. The plant species of the highest covering areas became F. valesiaca, P. bulbosa, B. tomentellus and T. sipyleus. When F. valesiaca and P. bulbosa were found in the 24 different sites, E. campestre and T. sipyleus were met in the 23 different sites. The mean species number in the rangelands was 27. Plant species for grazing response were categorized and found as 8 decreaser, 11 increaser and 164 invader of species. The rangeland areas of Nevsehir were determined rich for the floristic composition. This current rich status is recommended to be maintained and improved with suitable rangeland management techniques. Keywords : Nevşehir, rangeland, flora
