A RESEARCH ON YIELD AND ADAPTATION OF SOME NARBON VETCH LINES (Vicia narbonensis L.) IN ISPARTA ECOLOGICAL CONDITIONS

1 S.D.Ü. Ziraat Fakültesi, Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü, Atabey-ISPARTA - This research was carried out in 1998 and 1999 winter period. In this study, yield and some agricultural characters of 15 narbon vetch lines were investigated.

According to the earliest flowering, the earliest maturity, plant height, grain yield and biological yield, significant differences were determined among narbon vetch lines. The highest seed yield and biological yield were obtained with 303.2 kg/da in 2389 and with 801.8 kg/da in 2388 narbon vetch lines respectively.
